Short description

This week will be a mix of problem-solving case in order to develop the cooperation, creativity and flexibility of students within an international environment.

Students will also visit a local brewery and enjoy beer tastings. Social activities and a beer hunting in the European capital, Brussels, will also be foreseen in order to develop the intercultural understanding and the beer discovery.

The week will be a mix of conferences, working sessions coached by professionals with a final presentation and prize ceremony.

Practical information

Format 

BIP = Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (possibilities to get European fundings for non-Belgian students – please contact your International Office for further information)

Non-Belgian and eligible students will automatically be considered BIP participants.   

Price - 290€

This fee includes:   

  • Meals (breakfasts, lunches and 1 supper)
  • Accommodation (5 nights from 30 March to 4 April in shared rooms) 
  • Social programme and material     

Invoices will be sent individually to the students unless otherwise specified by the partnering institution.

Target and requirements

The week is intended for at least second year students in Marketing, Management or International Business having at least a B2 level in English.


Agenda

Dates and location: 

  • Online sessions: to be decided
  • On site sessions: 31 March to 4 April 2025 - EPHEC University College, Louvain-la-Neuve Campus, Belgium 

Schedule:

Activities will be scheduled from approximately 9:00 to 17:00 on Monday 31, Tuesday 1, Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 April, and from 9:00 to 13:00 on Friday 4 April. Teams presentations will take place on Friday morning.

A farewell dinner will be organized on Thursday evening and one extra social activity will be scheduled on Monday or Tuesday afternoon at the end of the working day.

Some activities will take place out of Louvain-la-Neuve campus (at the brewery and in Brussels).

FAQ

EPHEC will book the accommodation for students from foreign institutions (included in the 290€ registration fees) for 5 nights from 30 March to 4 April 2025. Name and address of the hotel will be communicated later.

Included in the price: Breakfast and bed linen. You will have to bring your own towel. 

Not included in the price: Body Wash and Shampoo

Type of room: shared rooms or dorms

Check in / Check out: Check in will be available from 3:00pm till 7:00pm and check out until 10:30am. 

The students themselves must book their own transportation to Louvain-la-Neuve, as soon as possible. 
Arrival must be scheduled on Sunday 30 March at anytime, preferably before the evening in order to avoid a late arrival at the hostel (activities will only start on Monday 31 March morning, no activity scheduled on Sunday). 
Departure should be scheduled on Friday 4 April afternoon/evening (activities will end around 13h, Brussels National Airport called Zaventem is 1h30 distance by public transport, as well as Charleroi Airport called Brussels-South Charleroi).

Yes! Whether you are Belgian or not! The purpose of an international week is to develop international relationships with other participants. Online sessions are also mandatory.
